1. How much does financial advice cost?
We charge on a fee-for-service basis – you pay for the advice we provide, not commissions or product-linked remuneration.
As a guide: an initial Statement of Advice (SoA) is typically $3,900–$7,500 depending on complexity. A straightforward super and investment review sits at the lower end; a situation involving SMSF setup, RSU tax planning, or cross-border tax issues sits higher.
Ongoing advice is typically $3,000–$6,000 per year, covering annual reviews, strategy updates, implementation, and access to your adviser throughout the year.
Some clients engage us for a one-off piece of advice on a specific question – RSU tax treatment, SMSF establishment, or pre-departure tax planning. We can structure engagements that way too.
Your first conversation with us is complimentary and obligation-free. 20 to 25 minutes where we understand your situation, outline what advice would look like for you, and give you a clear fee indication before anything proceeds. No surprises.
2. Will you receive any commissions from the products you recommend?
No. We do not receive commissions from the financial products we recommend. Our advice is completely free from product provider influence.
The only exception is personal insurance, where we accept the legislated industry rate under Corporations Law – the same way a mortgage broker receives commission for their loan services. This is fully disclosed and regulated by ASIC.
3. How do you handle my personal information and privacy?
Your privacy is handled with strict confidentiality protocols and in full compliance with Australian privacy law. We only share your information with third parties when necessary and with your consent.
Full details are available in our Privacy Policy at berylliumadvisers.com.au/privacy.
4. How do I get started?
Book a complimentary 20-minute Clarity call at mywealthchoice.com.au. We will discuss your financial situation, your RSU picture, your goals, and whether we are the right fit.
You can also explore the Wealth Bytes podcast – available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube – to get a genuine sense of how we think and whether our approach resonates with you before we ever speak.
