Who we do our best work with
I work exclusively with tech professionals. That’s a deliberate practice decision, not a marketing angle - it’s why I can talk about Division 293, RSU taxing points and single-stock concentration without needing you to explain them first.
Across 20+ years and 400+ clients, the people who get the most out of this relationship tend to share five things:
1. You’re thinking in decades, not quarters. You want a plan for the next twenty years, not a product to buy this month.
2. You’ll stay in the room. The best plans get built alongside you. If you want something handed over and never opened again, we’ll both be frustrated.
3. You have $300,000+ in investable assets - or you’re on a clear trajectory to get there, typically on a package of $250,000 or more.
4. You’re ready to delegate. You’ve got a demanding role. Optimising your own tax position at 11pm on a Sunday isn’t a good use of the hour.
5. You want the whole picture. Tax, super, equity, insurance, estate, the lot - not a single-issue fix.
If four or five of those sound like you, the next step is a conversation.
And who we’re probably not right for
It’s cheaper for both of us to say this now than in month three:
• You want stock picks or a hot tip. We build strategy. We don’t trade.
• You want a property bought to solve a tax bill. I’ve never believed in negative gearing as a default strategy. Property can be part of a plan - it just has to be the right answer, not a reflex.
• You want the cheapest possible option. Our advice fees are flat and agreed upfront. We don’t take commissions on investments or super, and we’re not owned by, aligned to, or incentivised. by any product provider. That independence is worth something. It doesn’t make us the cheapest quote you’ll get.
• You want an adviser with no conflicts at all. There’s no such thing, so here’s ours, plainly: if we recommend personal insurance and you take out the policy, the insurer pays us a commission. You’ll see the dollar figure in writing before you decide anything, and you have to consent to it in writing before we can accept it. Everything else we do - the strategy, the tax work, the plan - is paid for by you, not by a product. If you’d rather we rebate the insurance commission and charge you a flat fee for that work instead, say so and we’ll do it that way.
• You’re looking for reassurance rather than advice. Sometimes the honest answer is that the thing you want to do is a bad idea. You’ll hear that from me.
No hard feelings either way - if we’re not a fit, I’ll usually be able to point you somewhere that is.
Tell us where you’re up to
A few lines is plenty. The more context you give, the more useful the first call will be.
We reply to every enquiry within one business day. Your details go to me directly - not to a call centre, and never to a third party. See our Privacy Policy.
What happens after you hit send
1. A 20 -minute Financial Clarity call.
We work out whether your situation is one I can genuinely add value to. No presentation, no pitch. If it’s a no, you’ll know on that call.
2. Your Financial Roadmap Meeting.
We take a close look at where you are now - your equity, tax exposure, super, and what you’re really trying to achieve with it all. Most people leave this meeting with one or two decisions already reframed.
3. Your plan, built with you.
We walk through your strategy together through the Confident Choice System™ - our nine-step framework covering RSU taxation, concentration risk, super optimisation and building wealth that matches the life you actually want. You’ll understand every recommendation before you agree to any of it.
The question we keep coming back to isn’t “what should I invest in?” It’s “what do I want my life to look like, and what does the money need to do to get me there?”

Fee-for-service, with one disclosed exception.
No commissions on investments, super or SMSF - the only product commission we receive is on personal insurance, disclosed in dollars and consented to by you before it’s paid.
